The Toland Ranch is located between Corona, New Mexico and Willard, New Mexico at Cedarvale. Just fifteen minutes from the Cibola National Forest and the Gallinas Mountains. The ranch is comprised of approximately 1,440 deeded acres situated in two non-contiguous tracts. The north tract located north of Highway 42 is comprised of approximately 520 surface acres within a serviceable boundary fence. The south tract, located south of Highway 42, is comprised of approximately 920 surface acres of native grass rangeland. A portion of this tract is not fenced to control livestock. The current lessee owns the adjoining land tracts. Approximately four miles of new perimeter fence is required for control of livestock grazing the southern tract. There is no permanent source of water on this tract however there are several earthen tanks located within the unit that provide storage of rainfall runoff.

The terrain is open generally level to gently rolling grassland with some cedar and juniper trees on the northern tract. The grass cover is primarily grama grass with some scattering of sage and cholla cactus.
