South
Brown Lake Ranch is nicely
improved cattle ranch. An
excellent turf provides for
a variety of forage. The
Middle Arroyo Draw traverses
the ranch along the ranch’s
western boundary. The ranch
is partitioned into one
large pasture and one small
horse trap in the vicinity
of the headquarters. The
livestock and domestic water
is provided by three wells,
one of which is a shared
well, along with
approximately six miles of
buried pipeline. Livestock
water distribution provides
for consistent utilization
of the entire ranch unit. In
addition to the permanent
water sources there are
several earthen tanks that
catch and store rainfall
runoff. These earthen tanks,
when containing water are
